We are seeking a front desk receptionist for an established Day SPA in the beautiful city of Delray Beach Florida. The ideal candidate loves working with clients and assisting the SPA technicians. Below are  some of the tasks the Front desk receptionist will be responsible for:

1. Client Reception and Customer Service
  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival
  • Check Clients in for the scheduled appointment
  • Offer beverages
  • Escort clients to the appropriate technician when needed
  • Maintain a calm, welcoming SPA athmosphere
2. Phone and Communications
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally
  • Provide information about SPA services, pricing and availability
  • Book new appointment
  • Confirm upcoming appointments
  • Reschedule appointments when necessary
  • Take messages for technicians
  • Respond/return voice messages
3. Appointment Management
  • Operate the the Vagaro booking app
  • Take client booking request and insert into booking application
  • Make certain client are provided reminders about the their appointment
  • Insert new client information in the booking app
  • Update existing client information in the booking app.
  • Verify the booking schedule is in order and no errors or double bookings
  • Print booking schedule when requested by technicians or office manager
4. Client Checkout and Payment
  • Process client Payments (cash, Zelle, cheques and other methods)
  • Provide receipts id requested
  • Tally the services dollar amount by technicians at the end of the day
  • Balance the cash drawer at the end of the day
5. Retail Sales Support
  • Process retail purchases
  • Keep the retail display clean and organized
6. SPA Operational Support
  • Start laundry loads as needed
  • Fold and organize clean laundry
  • Keep reception and waiting area tidy
  • Restock supplies
  • Light cleaning of front desk and waiting area.
7. Team Communication
  • Inform Technicians of schedule changes
  • Inform technicians of new appointments
  • Inform the SPA manager of missing or low supplies
8. Opening Duties
  • Turn lights on, music, and booking Ipad
  • Prepare cash box
  • Check the day's schedule
  • Ensure waiting area is clean and tidy
  • Ensure there is adequate hand towels, toilet paper and other supplies in the bathroom
9. Closing Duties
Balance cash drawer
Confirm next day's appointments
Tidy reception area
Start laundry loads
Turn off lights, music and
